This Convention on Biological Diversity focuses on biodiversity targets and their implementation, involving governments, civil society representatives, and scientists.

UNFCCC COP 31

Antalya, Turkiye

The annual UN climate summit where nearly 200 countries negotiate on cutting emissions, climate finance, and the shift away from fossil fuels, also with the participation of civil society observers.

Climate Week New York - Subhra Bhattacharjee (FSC Director General) and Sarah Billig (FSC US President) are joining a panel of the Nature Hub.

FSC participates to:

  • Demonstrate how responsible forest management supports climate and nature goals - for instance, by sharing credible, science‑based approaches;
  • Strengthen collaboration across governments, businesses, and civil society to address climate change, biodiversity loss, and deforestation;
  • Work with Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and all FSC partners to advance nature-based solutions for climate and biodiversity;
  • Grow partnerships and investments in sustainable forestry and ecosystems.
