Subhra is Director General of the Forest Stewardship council and elected chair of the FSC I&P Board of Directors in March 2025. Her focus is on strategic planning and leadership with track record in public policy at national and sub-national levels, and programme coordination in the intersection of development-humanitarian-peace initiatives. Managed large teams and complex processes. Skilled in Statistics, Research, Environmental Policy and Economic Development. Ph.D. in environmental and macro-economics, M.Phil in International Economics. Before taking her leadership role at FSC, Subhra was most recently Strategic Planner and Head of UN Resident Coordinators Office at the United Nations in Bahrain.
