Sarah Harris

Sarah Harris (BSc Biological Science - forest ecology, MBA sustainability leadership) has been serving as the neutral chairperson of the Policy and Standards Committee since 2021. Sarah worked in the Policy and Standards Unit at the FSC International Center from 2004 to 2007 and has been an individual member of FSC ever since. She has 13 years’ experience working for an FSC accredited certification body (SCS Global Services) and served as an Expert Advisor for the first Controlled Wood Working Group in 2008-2009. In 2020 Sarah started her own business as an independent consultant (EcoLogic Consulting), offering technical writing and advisory services to a number of ISEAL-member certification schemes, as well as working with certification bodies and certificate holders. She is also an Associate of Dovetail Partners, Inc. and has been the chairperson of Assurance Services International’s Impartiality Committee since 2018.
