FSC Membership Director

Guillle

Guillermina Garza

Guillermina Garza, also known as Guille, has been an integral part of FSC for over 30 years, starting her journey with the organization in August 1994. One of the first to believe in FSC’s mission and vision, Guille played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for what has now become the world’s most trusted certification scheme for responsible forest management. Working with a small, dedicated team in Mexico and limited resources, Guille helped shape the organization into the gold standard it is today.

Throughout her journey with FSC, Guille has hosted nine General Assemblies, a testament to her long-standing commitment to the organization and its members. She works closely with FSC’s international members, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring their continued engagement in FSC’s mission.

Before joining FSC, Guille worked in cultural events and taught English. In the early days of FSC, she also served as Office Manager, overseeing the organization’s finances, office operations, and contributing to the recruitment of both local and international colleagues. Today, as Membership Director, based in Bonn, she continues to lead FSC’s membership strategy while ensuring the smooth operation of FSC AC (FSC Asociación Civil) in Mexico and maintaining strong international connections.
