FSC has joined 100+ NGOs supporting the #Together4Forests movement.
FSC is a non-profit organization, providing trusted solutions to help protect the world’s forests and tackle today’s deforestation, climate, and biodiversity challenges.
Currently, over 150 million hectares of forest worldwide is certified according to FSC standards, designed to address a broad range of environmental, social, and economic factors.
Our members, who bring equally balanced social, economic and environmental perspectives, keep our standards robust. Organizations throughout the forest supply chain get certified against these standards, driving sustainability from forest to shelf.
Our “check tree” label is found on millions of products worldwide, verifying sustainable sourcing from the forest to store shelves. Forty-six per cent of consumers around the globe recognize our label*.
Certification is just one way we advance sustainable forestry.
In partnership with a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders, we also offer solutions to address climate change, regulatory compliance, conservation, and restoration.
