Ukraine Launches a National Forest Stewardship Standard FSC / Iván Castro FSC / Iván Castro January 27, 2020 Category : Standards The FSC National Forest Stewardship Standard for Ukraine will become effective on 30 March 2020. FSC Ukraine launches its national forest stewardship standard that applies to all forest types. A chamber-balanced standard development group developed the standard. The group used a multi-stakeholder process, including two public consultations and a field test. FSC-certified forest area in the country currently represents around 40% of the total forest land, mostly state owned.
