We are looking for an engaged Applications and platforms manager who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.

 

The Scope

To perform and maintain the installation, configuration, customization, and support of FSC’s IT Application landscape while adhering to and implementing best practices. Including effective resolution of issues, ensuring data quality, guiding and assisting users and alignment with business opportunities.

 

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • To identify, document and validate business objectives and requirements and ensure that applications are developed or improved to meet identified needs.
  • To manage the acquisition and deployment of IT applications, systems software, and associated products.
  • To oversee, operational management of IT applications to ensure root cause analysis, successful resolution of identified issues and problems.
  • Identify and provide feedback on areas of improvement for FSC’s IT applications.
     

Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • Education and Training:
    • University degree or higher-level education or training in computer science, business Information technology or IT-related field.
    • Certifications and/or successfully completed Dynamics training or equivalent (desired modules: Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 Core, Customer Engagement, Finance, Marketing).
    • Certifications in Project Management, Agile Scrum, and ITIL.
    • At least 4 years of professional experience in IT application development and support.
       
  • Working Experience, Style and Skills:
    • Proven experience in project management, including IT application development and implementation.
    • Proficiency in Data Warehouse management in areas such as metadata and master data management, cleansing strategies and Webservices.
    • Direct, hands-on experience with Dynamics software management tools.
    • Strong knowledge of Dynamics software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
    • Extensive experience with core software applications, including Office365, PowerBi, Tableau.
    • Working knowledge of API and system integration protocols.
    • Proficiency and at least two years of experience in C#, JavaScript, or PHP.
    • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is an added advantage.
       
  • Languages:
    • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
    • Fluency in German and/or Spanish and/or French and/or Chinese (spoken and written) is a very valuable plus.
       
  • Others:
    • Experience in working in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, global team is a valuable plus
    • Commitment to FSC’s mission and values.
    • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diversity of values, views and approaches to issues relevant to the FSC program by stakeholders around the world.
       

Terms and Conditions

  • Location: Bonn, Germany.
  • Working Hours: full time (40 hours per week)
  • Duration of Employment: temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible).
  • Starting Date: as soon as possible.
