We are looking for an engaged Supply Chain Integrity Manager (m/f/d) who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.

The Scope

To ensure the integrity and credibility of the FSC system through supporting measures to prevent and address the occurrence of false claims and fraud. The manager will contribute to the delivery of targeted solutions and communications on activities to address FSC system integrity and supply chain integrity. The employee will support FSC by coordinating the relationship with ASI and further developing it, while also managing projects with external partners.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with FSC Network, ASI, FSC staff and CBs to address supply chain integrity issues, primarily in the European region, but not limited to it.
  • Coordinate supply chain integrity investigations in European region, but not limited to it.
  • Support communication, including crisis communications, for supply chain integrity activities.
  • Provide support for the development and adoption of integrity tools.
  • Build and maintain effective contacts and good relations with stakeholders affected by relevant normative documents and supply chain integrity activities.
  • Together with Programme Manager, manage relations with ASI (Assurance Services International), including develop and regularly review Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for ASI,
  • Review and provide advice on ASI procedures to ensure they are aligned with the FSC normative framework and relevant best practices, if needed seeking support from relevant FSC units, maintaining the contractual framework, including preparation and monitoring of the MoU, TORs and other contractual and financial agreements with ASI.
  • Monitor ASI’s complaints and incidents management and coordinate with the Dispute Resolution team.
  • Identify, advise on, monitor and review system improvement.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Education and Training:
    • University/technical college degree or equivalent training or experience in a relevant field.
  • Working Experience, Style and Skills:
    • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
    • Forensic investigation experience is an asset.
    • Training in or experience with Communications / FSC Certification are assets.
    • Experience with wood identification techniques is an asset.
    • Sound project management experience.
    • Experience in writing, reviewing, revising, and/or editing technical documents, making them light and user-friendly by using the appropriate style and terminology.
    • Ability to perform well while simultaneously handling several functions.
  • Languages:
    • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
    • Spanish, Portuguese or French is a plus.
    • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills that contribute to cohesive team efforts and decision making.
  • Computer Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:
    • Good skills in the use of/experience with Standard software packages (MS Office).

Terms and Conditions

  • Location: Bonn, Germany.
  • Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
  • Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible)
  • Starting Date: As soon as possible.
