FSC-PRO-01-001 specifies how documents of the FSC normative framework are developed, reviewed and revised. Currently, FSC has 69 international normative documents that are subject to being revised based on this procedure.

FSC is now establishing a technical working group to redesign the procedure by making it more agile, effective, outcome and risk oriented, to ultimately facilitate the streamlining of the normative framework.

General requirements for candidates:

Ideal candidates have knowledge and experience in standard setting processes of FSC or other voluntary standard setting schemes (i.e. ISEAL member schemes). Candidates should be solution oriented and eager to propose and implement innovative ideas.

Please check the terms of reference – available at the end of this article – for all the necessary requirements. FSC will cover all travel costs associated with the in-person meetings of the technical working group (to take place if current world circumstances allow it, if not they will be replaced by virtual meetings). If required, a stipend can be granted by FSC on a case-by-case basis.
