Dawid Podsiadło started his career after winning the Polish version of the TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ in 2012. He was only 19 back then and signed a record deal with Sony Music.

Rising star! – young talent becomes famous

In 2018, he released his third album ‘Małomiasteczkowy’ (in English, ‘Smalltown Boy’), which became one of the bestselling albums in the Polish music market and went diamond just like his previous albums. In 2019, around 60 000 tickets for his and Taco Hemingway concert at National Stadium PGE in Warsaw were sold out within five hours.

Dawid Podsiadło turns to environmental issues

Almost a year after releasing this last album, Dawid re-released it. To share an environmental message David made sure all paper used for the packaging and the booklet added to his CD, would be FSC labelled. Moreover, no plastic was used, and all elements were FSC certified.

This was soon followed by a concert tour called ‘Forests’ Music’. In his current concert tour, the artist encourages his fans to become more environmentally conscious. The tickets for this special, acoustic concert tour were immediately sold out.

“This is great news for FSC in Poland – in our efforts to reach younger generations of consumers”, said Karolina Tymorek, FSC Project Coordinator for Poland. “Although we are already visible in the most important Polish market chains, Dawid Podsiadło’s promotion will certainly strengthen the recognition of the FSC brand in Poland. We are very happy of the cooperation with Sony Music Poland and hope that in the nearest future more and more artists will choose the same path.”
