Your voice matters: join the PCI Consultative Forums

As part of the ongoing revision of FSC’s core responsible forest stewardship standards, we invite you to join the PCI Consultative Forums. These forums provide a structured space for ongoing dialogue and direct input, where your contributions feed directly into the revision of FSC’s Principles, Criteria and International Generic Indicators (PCI). The forums are organized around the following key topics and stakeholder types: 

• Forest Managers
• Indigenous Peoples
• Non-timber forest products
• Intact forest landscapes
• Emerging topics such as gender, climate and labour

These forums provide an inclusive platform for exchange on key issues identified by the PCI Working Group. They allow stakeholders to share insights, experiences, and expectations, helping shape a practical and widely representative PCI.

How they will work

The agenda and background materials will be shared two weeks prior to each meeting for participants to prepare for the dialogue. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided to cover FSC official languages. Summaries of the discussion will be shared with the PCI Working Group. 

By engaging directly with stakeholders, FSC seeks to strengthen collaboration and ensure that the revised PCI reflects shared values, practical experiences, and evolving expectations.

First-time participants: If this is your first time engaging with the Consultative Forums, please sign up to ensure your participation data is captured. Zoom links will be shared with you after registration.

Returning participants: Please refer to the PCI Hub to access registration and Zoom links for Wednesday 22 July sessions. The next Consultative Forum invites all forums to come together to discuss the purposes of FSC’s Principles, Criteria and Indicators and identify the users of those standards.
