This guide is intended for organizations that wish to use the FSC trademarks for the promotion of FSC-certified labelled products or services.

The guide can be used only from 1 June 2019, being the date when it will become effective. The transition period for this guide is 12 months, starting from 1 June 2019 and ending on 31 May 2020. From 1 June 2020, the Standard 'Requirements for promotional use of the FSC trademarks by non-certificate holders' will be withdrawn.
